my Easter Sunday...

Hindi natapos ang mga bisita namin from the metro na bet na bet magbakasyon sa province,, so that night, from Kwebang Lampas, dumating ang family ng friend namin na sina Richard and Lare,, uber saya lang at ang itinerary lang naman was to enjoy, kahit saan, basta masaya. We're supposed to go ulit dun sa beach kaso baka daw hindi kayanin ni mother nila ang boat ride lalo na at walang lifevest. So napagdesisyunan na lang na sa ilog ulit pumunta. But we went not dun sa may hanging bridge but a part of the bukid na you'll have to walk 15 minutes to reach the place where everyone's swimming talaga.. enjoy much lang ang trek, ung sa gitna ng bukid you'll walk then go down somewhere sa mga steep na lugar..

We brought food at isang bonggang picninc lang ang naganap. and uber sarap lang ng water, malamig, malinis at nakaka-refresh ng bongga..

Syempre, since sunday na siya, kelangan na din naman magtravel going back to Manila. But hindi agad - agad natapos ang trip namin sa Quezon. We went to the ever famous"Kamay ni Hesus" na uber ka-haggard sa pag-akyat nsa hundred steps na stairs nila to reach na bonggang-bonggang statue ni Christ. Andon kasi ung statue sa pinaka-taas ng hill. Madami pumupunta dun from different places just to see the place and I guess, it's one of the places Quezon province can offer..

Hindi ko na pinost ung isa-isang picture ko sa bawat stations-of-the-cross kasi more more yun e paulit-ulit lang naman.. ska hindi n ako naka-smile dun sa iba,, uber haggard na,, ang init tapos pagod kaka-akyat.. so basically, it's like big sacrifice pag aakyat ka jan saKamay.. hehehehe..

Last part na ito ng travel namin sa Quezon at for sure after ng nangyaring ito e umuwe na talaga kami. hehehehe. After ng bonggang akyat and all.. we decided to eat sa ever famous din sa Quezon na "Kamayan sa Palaisdaan". Specialty nila dun ang mga ihaw-ihaw na tilapia or pla-pla ang tawag sa amin, bangus, liempo, ginataan (something cooked with coconut milk). Then you may eat lang with your hands, kamayan nga di ba? then kakain ka sa isang floating hut sa isang malaking pond. hehehe.. nature - nature lang ang drama dun with matching fresh air and all those insects, char lang! ahahaha..

at ako ay super gutom na,,, tagal ng order,, 30 minutes sa pag-aantay!!

Yipee,, natapos na rin ang post ko for the holy week vacation ko sa Quezon.. Hindi man kami nakapunta sa Puerto Galera,, hindi ako nagsisi kasi more more happy and fun din naman ang vacation namin.. had like super dami din na places na napuntahan with just 5 days.. saka Galera will always be with me.. Last name ko kaya yun.. ahahahahaha

at ang kinalabasan nito,, hindi ako nakapasok ng monday!! ahahahaha...

my black saturday 2011: KWEBANG LAMPAS

After lunch, me, RS, Dex and Adonis decided to go to Borawan island na, google google kami on how to go there and yes, we actually find ways. Since ako ang taga-province, I somehow knew the landmarks given google kaso when we checked the rates, may boat, entrance and kemerut, ay, parang no, no, no na lang ang laban namin.. Then biglang sumama sa amin sina mama and 2 other aunts ni RS and biglang naisip namin, keri na yan,, the more the merrier, lesser na ang gastos..

gow gow gow na ang eksena at eto ka, while we're on our way.. I saw this bus sa unahan namin at sabi ko, "bastos ang busabos na itey!!"

then ayan na!! after like 15 minutes travel from our place, we reached "Silangan Nayon" it's a posh restaurant beside Tayabas Bay na more more seafoods and sine-serve. pero sabi namin, this isn't the place. Buti friendly ang mga people and tanung-tanung kami. Straight ahead lang daw and we'll reach the dulo daw and meron daw dun mga fisherman na nagpapa-rent ng boat.

Broom Brooom Brooooooom... after 10 minutes, ayun na, dagat na!! at may friendly manong naman na nag-assist sa amin, He referred us to a fisherman na naghahatid at nagsusundo sa island. Sabi ni manong bangkero, it would take 2 hours to reach Borawan island, e mejo kyorkot ang bangka, no life vest pa, as in 2 tao lang ang kasya sa isang silya. They're using a boat not made for transport but for fishing, so maliit lang talaga siya. Sabi ni manong, meron daw mas malapit and they call it "KWEBANG LAMPAS", white sand din daw and maganda. So gow na kami, alang-alang sa pagbe-beach ng walang sunblock! huhuhuhu... we asked the price, and isa itong umaatikabong P1,500 back and forth. Dahil sa umay na kami tumawad at bet na namin umalis e gora na kami.. It took us 40 minutes to reach the island, we passed by the Mirant geothermal powerplant at nasa likod lang pala niya yun..

and after 40 minutes!! ito na siya!!

uu na, ako na ang matapang na hindi mag-shirt pag nagbbeach!! ahahaha

at ito naman dun sa loob mismo ng cave.. ung mga "kakapalan-ng-aking-mukha shots" para ipakita.. kasi parang kelangan magpic ka sa loob ng cave!!

at hindi ko m-stretch ang leeg ko!! nakakainis!! ahahaha

ang saya-saya,, more more lang ang swim namin,, sarap ng tubig dagat, sarap ng init ng araw,, sarap din ng mga tao.. ching!! ahahaha... sana makapunta yun iba sa inyo jan sa quezon,, more more fun lang ang eksena with the beach.. at pwede ka pa dun mag-overnight, dala ka lang ng Php300 kasi pag day tour e Php50,, eco fee yata ang tawag nila dun.. okay na yun, konting tulong lang para sa nag-me-maintain ng lugar di ba?

Eeeeeeeeehhh,, ito na ulit ako..a t ayun nga, dumating si Adonis and Dexter and we just literally spent the day doing some nature trekking, tripping adventure sa bayan ng lucena. Later the night nang dumating sila, gow na agad kami kina RS sa Lucena kasi mas more more provincial ang dating ng environment dun compared sa amin sa sariaya..

Wake up! Wake up!! Malamig ang start ng morning at malakas maka-fresh so we decided to go na lang sa ilog.. Mejo proud kasi kami to show Adonis and Dex ung hanging bridge, at ang maganda pa don e konti lang lagi ang tao na naliligo.. ilog nga kasi eh.. hehehe.. saka malalim yung ibang part..

syempre, hindi kami pwede matapos lang sa ilog basta.. since we wanted na magswim sa beach. we googled kung paano pumunta sa BORAWAN ISLAND, it's like very popular ngayon, napanuod kasi namin sa TV.. However, though taga-quezon ako, hindi ako alam ung paano pumunta dun, i just know theoretically yung location nung lugar, kung saan bayan siya or what.. huhuhu... Pero dahil sa matapang kami, together with mom and aunts of RS, we went out the afternoon to find the place, kung paano pumunta and gow, hindi pa rin kami successful to go sa island na yun, pero we went somewhere na maganda rin naman: "KWEBANG LAMPAS" as they call it..

my good friday 2011..

ang saya saya lang kasi i was able to go back sa Quezon and see my family. I've seen all of my friends and relatives there then masaya pa din kasi i was with RS by the time na umuwe kami. More more lang hello sa mga parents but by night time, he has to leave na and go sa parents naman niya,. syempre, kanya-kanyang drama lang sa family..

since noon lang ako nakauwe sa amin, bongga tlga ang balita na dumating sa akin.. It made me proud and feeling ko, malapit na kami maging city!!

Welcome to JOLLIBEE Sariaya!! ahahaha.. feeling ko, pipilahan ito ng mga estudyante at ng iba't-ibang kyorpalin ng bayan!

by friday morning, text na agad ang mga friends ko to make myself available daw kasi we'll be going sa batangas to check ung mga beaches dun para sa reunion namin.. so dahil madali naman akong kausap e gow na ang lolo niyo.. first time ko nun pumunta sa Laiya and maganda nga ang beach, developed na ung mga areas, madaming tao, may portion na rough road at eto ka, mainit!!

ito ung mga beach na pinuntahan namin:

La Luz Beach Resort, na ang alam ko pinuntahan nun nila Leo at Nimmy !!

Blue Coral na uber daming tao sa loob, mejo crowded at may pool

White Cove na maganda naman siya,

spacious ung lugar then mejo bet ung rates

isang beach lang ang may pic, kasi isang strip lang yan,. pare-pareho lang sila na nasa Tayabas Bay, which goes from San Juan, Batangas until Pitogo, Quezon.. hehehe

Then after namin magpakapawis sa pag-ocular ng mga beach dun sa batangas, we went straight sa bayan ng san juan to llok for something to eat.. San Juan was known daw for their LOMI, it's a noodle dish na mejo viscous yung sabaw, and OMI talaga!! for like a big bowl for 3 persons, it would only cost you Php60.00!! So love talaga pag sa province, mura na, masarap pa!!

at the same time, nung pauwe na kami from batangas, Adonis, may anak-anakan was on their way na rin going to Quezon with Dex. We're not expecting them to come, yung parang joke-joke lang ba na invitation, but mali pala, sineryoso nila!! bigla na lang sila umalis na manila at pumunta sa Quezon.. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh..

Quicky # 11

Just a quick update..

Tomorrow, i think almost everyone will be having their semana vacation.

and ako, excited much na ako na umuwe sa aking province for the following reasons:

1. makita ang aking mga parents and pamangkins..

2. makita ang aking mga highschool friends..

3. makita ang aking pinsan after a year with his friend.. nu kaya itsura nung friend nya?? ahahaha.. char! behave ako noh, family yun eh..

4. matulog ng walang electric fan dahil sa lamig..

5. kumain ng "hotia", it's a pancit na feeling ko sa amin lang meron.. ahaha

alam ko rin naman na meron din kayong mga kanya-kanyang itinerary for this holy week, meron nasa province, meron nasa bora and meron din na nasa puerto.. tapos meron din iba na nasa work pa, yung walang bakasyon na mga work ba.. hehehe.. basta kung anu man ang ginagawa niyo e ingat ingat sa lahat ha and enjoy!

An ERAP joke..

one afternoon when i was feeling really feverish, i had this conversation with a friend. We seem to chat every afternoon, around like 4:00pm onwards, when I no longer have any pending office works. Okay, Fine!! ako na ang nag-cha-chat sa oras ng trabaho. ahahaha.

What we usually talk about are jokes, siya lagi yung nagjjoke kasi mas marami siyang alam. Ewan ko ba kung bakit hindi ako biniyayaan ng talent to remember jokes. Sometimes corny yung joke, but it's in the "corniness" (may term ba ng ganon? hehehe) that I found the real score for laughing. Going on, he had this joke about Erap and Jinggoy. It's stated like this:

Erap: anak akyat ka nga sa puno, check mo kung hinog na yung mangga

(edi akyat naman si jinggoy)

jinggoy: dad hinog na!

erap: baba ka na jan sungkitin na natin!!

we laughed and laughed. i even shared it to my officemates and they also laughed.

But the thing is, while we're busy chatting, i came to rationalize the joke in a slightly serious manner. Like why Erap asked his son Jinggoy to go down with him instead of instructing to get the mango.

We all dream big, wish for something that could give us fame, wealth, stability, fabulosity (?) and security. We all have our own goals in life, ung parang minsan sabi ko, kaya ako nag-aral e para ma-achieve ko yung aking mga goals, but there's something I didn't see until i started working. It's not all about the education I got, but it's a plus-plus of things. Like the combination of my education, willingness, tight faith, own strategies and being wise on my decisions. The child in me before thought all would be easy. Just after graduating comes working then voila!! I'll be able to get the things I want.

But a big NO embraced me. Jan-Jaran-Jaraan!! It opened my eyes and paved my way to Mr.Reality. In which in one way or the other, taught me that not everything can be obtained / achieved easily. I have to go through difficulties, have to go through some trials, tough situations etc. basta, kelangan daw may eksenang ka-dramahan pero kelangan din, you'll take it in a positive way.

Going back to the joke, I compared the "act of getting the mangoes" to my journey of achieving success in life, JINGGOY to me and ERAP to reality. Reality in one way or the other will pull you back to where you have to learn things the hard way. Of course, it gives you the hope that you can achieve what you want, get what you desired, but it pays to wait and asks for patience and effort. Para bang, hindi lahat ng gusto natin is makukuha sa isang agarang paraan.. hehehehe.. And though ERAP pulled JINGGOY back with him, they did get the mangoes, in the hard way yet enjoyed themselved through a father-son interaction kemerut boom boom.. hehehe

At ako na daw ang nag-explain at nagpaka-seryoso sa isang lumang joke about ERAP and JINGGOY. Yung friend ko kasi, kung anu-anong joke ang alam.. ahahaha..

the cat and me..

Dahil sa gutom at lunch time na, we went to some place na pwede kumain.. then i saw this white cat pagpasok pa lang namin., at naalala ko si nimmy kasi mahilig siya sa mga cats di ba?? as in white xa, mejo madumi, pero pure na white. hehehe

sabi ko:

"ay ang cute nung cat,, kulay puti tapos dalawa kulay ng mata!!"

then unexpectedly, bigla na lang siya lumapit ng lumapit, parang nanghihingi ng food. ung tipong, tinataas niya yung kamay niya to reach for something, ako naman, since takot at baka mangagat:

"eeeehh... layo! layo!! layo!!"

i took photos of the cat, at ito xa:

after nung mga pasaway kong message, parang sumunod naman si kitty, at naupo na lang dun sa ilalim ng chair. bait bait kunwari.

at by the time naman na aalis na kami, ayun, humabol bigla.. at dahil sa eksenadora ako kanina:

"hala, yung pusa, humahabol.. layo! layo! layo!"

and it literally walk faster than the usual, baka kasi humabol bigla.. heheheh..

cute naman ang mga cats, kaso wala yata may alaga sa kanya, so delikado, baka may rabies pa and all tapos kagatin ako or kalmutin. nag-iingat lang po.. hehehe.. saka baka kaya siya humabol kasi alam niya sigro na "GOOD SOUL" ako, pero hindi muna ngayon, hindi ko bet mag-pulot ng cat from the street then iuuwi ko na lang bigla.. ahahaha

ang aking karanasan kaninang tanghali.

Q & A with JMR

we have this friend, actually co - worker xa ni RS, his name is JMR.

A complete gay in a form of a pooh bear! char lang! (baka pag nabasa niya ito, magalit siya ng bongga sa akin.. hihihi) He likes to fondle with boys younger than him. What amazes me about him is the fact na very witty siyang nilalang. He thinks fast, he answers questions in the most confabulated manner (para ready ka daw lagi sa IELTS, ahahaha) and he mimics people using his whole body talaga. Yung super effort sa pagkwento tapos uber lakas pa ng boses. Basta masaya siyang kasama and all you'll do is to laugh sa lahat ng mga kwento niya..

Then I remembered sa mga kwento ni RS, JMR likes to ask the young boys some silly yet the truest in its sense question, na ako din mismo, one time, has actually seen him asking the question.. at nakakatawa lang talaga for me..

at ang kanyang question:

para daw naman kasi maiba ung question, yun parang tumpak talaga sa sariling uri.,. ahahaha... at para hindi daw lagi, ideal man, girl, husband, wife, boyfie, jowa etc. at sa totoo lang, those young boys na tinatanong niya, would sometimes really answer the question.. ang kulet lang talaga.. LOL

"my BORA 2011" 2

chum chum chum charaaaaaaan!!!!

Welcome to Boracay! By the time na dumating na kami sa island, i was expecting na bababa ako sa boat na kung saan lahat ng nagbe-beach dun e makikita kami, but mali pala ako, isang port pala ang babaan niya and we have to ride again the trike para makarating sa station namin. sa loob loob ko, " ito ang ang boracay? ito na? ito na ito?"

at last nasa beach na kami, ready to swim, ready na magpa-araw.. left our slippers lang sa kung saan pwede at gow na sa beach.. sarap lang talaga pag puro pagrerelax lang gagawin..

hulaan niyo nga kung alin jan ang slippers ko.. with the personality i have.. for sure, ang hirap sabihin kung alin!! LOL!

ito lang ang emo pic sa harap ng isang hotel resort, naki-upo lang kasi meron silang uber big umbrella, so para hindi kami masyado maarawan.. arte arte lang sa pag-upo at pagwatch ng mga dumadaan na people. at ang tapang ko! sando lang talaga all throughout pag day time nung nasa bora! ako na kasi ang feeling malaki ang katawan!! pero sabi nung friend ko, okay lang daw yun, kesa sa mataba ka.. ching!

ito ung ever famous daw na restaurant which offers real good shakes. nung first time ko, i had a choco banana peanut milkshake and isang army navy na sandwich nila na over flowing yung cheese sauce. uber sarap tapos wheat bread pa yata gamit nila dun. di ba, uber healthy lang ang drama? then nung kasunod watermelon milkshake na lang, tamang tama lang sa mainit na panahon..

then ito ung grotto, hindi na ako pumunta mismo dun sa taas para magpicture picture, ayaw ko na nun kasi mabasa ang aking mga paa. arte lang. ahahaha.. basta maya't - maya kasi may umaakyat at magpicture, feeling ko haggard pag makipag-siksikan pa ako.. hehehe.. saka kaya pumunta kami dun, mas maganda yung sands, wala masyadong mga seaweeds, mas masarap magswim.. pak!

this is MAI-TAI daw, cocktail drink dun sa SummerPlace, isang bar na malapit lang sa amin.. more more ang inom that night and sarap lang magign wasted. Like yung isa namin kasama, sa kalasingan, nagroll siya sa sands heading the waters.. ahahaha.. and it's very wrong, kitang-kita siya ng mga dumadaan.. LOL!

ito na yata ang pinaka-echos sa ginawa namin, magpaloko ba naman na nakaka-ganda ng feet ang mga therafish as they called it. Pero okay naman kasi may kasama siyang back massage, so sarap lang ng feeling. Then when the fish bite you, feel mu talaga na gaganda ng paa. Ganon lang siguro ang pag rationalize pag mahal ang bayad!!

ito yung club/bar where the first group invited us to go, akala ko nung una e very posh, but no no no!! i didn't find it posh, ang daming local na andun.. pero kitang-kita mu naman na happy, as in super happy ang mga people dun.. I only had a bottle to drink there, afterwards we left na lang kasi masikip at mainit, at mapawis na yung iba. ahahaha

tapos na ang mga eksena, at nasa trike na ako the following morning going to the port area of broacay. nasa likod ako para feel na feel ko talaga ang pagtravel..

and this is the boat na kung ibabalik na kami sa caticlan, para bumalik na ng manila. so saya lang din the boat kasi lahat ng passengers e may life vest, di ba? uber safety lang ang motto in life ng mga boats.. hehehe..

then meron kami first and last pic ni RS together while we're in boracay,. actually, pabalik na kami nun sa mainland from boracay.. hindi ko na lang na-post kasi nasa digicam e tinatamad ako maglipat,, baka next time na lang.. ahahaha... may dala naman kaming digicam kaso, sa tamad namin magpciture at mag-anek-anek..
